* <F4><C3> MESSAGES (F10)
+
+ <F2><C1>
+ Messages are extremely important as they keep you informed of events
- and activities in the Galaxy.
+
+ There are two levels of message priority. When low priority messages
- arrive, you will be notified in the message section of the toolbar.
- Flashing text will be displayed to indicate a new message has arrived.
- You can deal with these messages at your leisure although some of them
- will require your attention by a certain point of time. To read a
- message, left click the message window on the toolbar or open the
- message screen. High priority messages are so important that when
- they arrive the message is played automatically.
+
+ On the left hand side of the message screen is the message summary
- window that contains a list of all the messages you have received.
- The sender's name is displayed along with the date the message was
- sent and the subject of the message. You can scroll up and down the
- list using the Scroll buttons on the in the right hand corners of
- this window.

- certain updates or reports. Other messages will require you to have
- a conversation with the message sender. A selection of responses will
- be displayed in the window at the bottom of the screen. Left click the
- desired response to send it.
+
+ You can exit the message screen by moving the mouse cursor to the
- small, empty window at the top left of the screen and left clicking.
- Alternatively select the screen you want from the screen select
- menu or by pressing the desired function key.
